This is a 1971-1972 U.S. Navy Tour Jacket.The USS INCHON was an assault landing ship that served in the U.S. Navy from 1970. This tour jacket was procured by a soldier who participated in a tour shortly after his enlistment. The parts, fabric, and Taylor label suggest that it was made in Southeast Asia or Japan. The jacket has little use and was probably stored with little or no wear. The same soldier also owned a 1973 tour jacket, which is of similar workmanship, suggesting that two jackets were procured at the same time. The body is made of light wool, and the zipper is YKK. It is made of wool, so it can be enjoyed even in somewhat cooler temperatures. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
