The legendary camouflage "Tiger Stripe" was used by U.S. Special Forces Green Berets, MACV-SOG, and CIDG soldiers in South Vietnam. This is a vintage shirt of the popular "Okinawa Tiger" pattern. This is a US cut large size shirt. This pattern is called JWD or John Wayne by some collectors.

Judging from the sewing of the buttonholes, we assume that it was manufactured in Okinawa, not in mainland Japan.

The most attractive feature is the characteristic marbled, tan-faded color tone. The originally yellowish color has faded into a unique tone with age and sunlight, and the entire camouflage has changed into an artistic look. There are only a few Okinawa Tigers with this "burnt" color in existence, and they are extremely rare.

The four-pocket design, the winged tailoring, the cuff buttons, and the flap buttons are all original and have no defects. It has a strong sense of use, but the toughness of the fabric and the sewing is still there, making it an ideal piece with a realistic texture and good condition.

Among tiger stripes, "Okinawa Tiger" is a tiger pattern said to have been manufactured in Japan. It is a valuable item for both collection and wearing .
