The B-15C is a true masterpiece of flight jacket, a fusion of history and functional beauty.
The B-15C type flight jacket was adopted by the U.S. Air Force in the early 1950s. This item is its actual vintage (MIL-J-6251C standard) and is an original manufactured by A. Pritzker & Sons Inc. The condition of the tags and zippers, the luster of the nylon, and even the lining are in very good condition.

The B-15C was the first model to be introduced in conjunction with the independence of the "U.S. AIR FORCE" from the previous B-15 series. The material used is a shiny Air Force blue nylon twill with a quilted lining. It combines high thermal protection and light weight, and features a windproof box-type waist rib, knit cuffs, and a mouton collar (full fur collar) that has an outstanding presence.

The contractor tag firmly states " JACKET, FLYING, INTERMEDIATE TYPE B-15C " and the size is 38 (an exquisite size that easily fits Japanese people). In addition, a hand-sewn name tag of "SIDNEY SCOTT MOUTON" is attached, and you can feel the proof that soldiers at that time engraved on this jacket as their pride.

The zipper made by CROWN is smooth and practical, and of course, it is a highly collectible piece. This jacket was worn by U.S. Air Force pilots on cold-weather missions and long-distance flights, and was truly a "combat uniform for flying. Its functionality and design continue to have a great influence on modern military fashion. Although there are some wear and peeling of the paint from use in those days, the item is still in good condition to be enjoyed. The ribs are also very clean. Please incorporate its stately history into your style. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
