Recon Team that existed in the MACV SOG (Military Assistance Command, Vietnam - Studies and Observations Group ), a Special Forces team that served in the shadows during the Vietnam War. This is a RT DELAWARE team patch, second generation team patch manufactured in sometime between 1969 and 1970. There is a machine embroidered type made in Taiwan, but this is a high quality hand embroidered type made in South Vietnam.
