The gold standard of vintage military, the M-65 Hoodie in superb condition!
This is a real U.S. Army M-65 Fishtail Parka (a.k.a. Mod Coat). Both the shell and liner were made in 1973 (contracted in the same year), and both are in extremely rare , near-unused condition. The hood is missing, but that makes it stylish and ideal for town use.

The parka shell was made by WYNN INDUSTRIES, INC. (DSA100-73-C-0368), and the quilted liner by WINFIELD MFG. CO., INC. (DSA100-73-C-0482). Both are originals from the 70's, and the colors, fabrics, and sewing are all "authentic" in their charm.

As the name suggests, the back of the garment is designed in a fishtail shape to protect the wearer from mud and snow while ensuring ease of movement. It is also highly windproof and coldproof, and features drawcords at the waist and hem, adjustable tabs at the cuffs, and a front wing tailoring.

The size is MEDIUM-REGULAR, a size that is very popular in contemporary fashion as a big silhouette coat, and can be easily worn over a sweatshirt or hoodie. Sets in such good condition are now extremely rare. It is a "real military" piece that will serve you for many years to come, not only in your collection, but also as outerwear for everyday use.
