Actual Fatigue pants in the largest size, X-Large REGULAR. This is the 4th model (ripstop fabric), the last model, from the 1969 contract. This is a collectible piece that is difficult to find nowadays, as it has all the elements of size, age, and fabric.

The 4th model is the final version of the fabric issued to soldiers during the chaotic period at the end of the Vietnam War. 100% cotton ripstop poplin is lightweight and tear resistant, a practical fabric developed to protect soldiers in the humid and hot jungle conditions. All pockets are designed with flaps and buttons, pleated thigh cargo pockets, adjustable straps at the waist, and drawcords at the hems (*this item has been hemmed).

The size is the very rare X-Large REGULAR, one of the largest specs for US fatigued pants. They are perfect for large people as well as modern styles that want to wear them oversized.

This item is real vintage with overall strong signs of use, with solid wear, bites, tanning, and fading. The tag is still in place and the DSA notation confirms that this is a 1969 contract item. The finish gives it a "field" feel as if it was used in the jungle, and has the persuasive power and weight that only the real thing has, which is completely different from an intact stored item.
