1968 Contract Lot, OG-107 Ripstop Jungle Fatigue Jacket (4th Model). This is the definitive model representing the Vietnam War era—a combat-ready jacket crafted from ripstop cotton, renowned for its lightweight yet highly durable properties.
This particular jacket falls within the well-balanced "MEDIUM-LONG" size range. It features a generous body length, resulting in an excellent silhouette even when worn today. Furthermore, its condition is noteworthy—it remains in exceptionally good shape, so much so that it could easily be described as unused.
The front features a "SALTER" name tape from the era, and a unit patch remains firmly attached to the right sleeve—details that strongly convey the sense that this was an actual issued item. These patches are believed to be original from the period, imbuing the jacket with a realism that aftermarket additions simply cannot match.
There is some slight staining visible on the front and back, but it is minor and has not penetrated the fabric. While it could be removed with a simple cleaning, we have chosen to list it as-is to preserve its “near-perfect, pristine texture.” We encourage you to first appreciate the texture of the fabric, which has never been washed.
Even among jungle fatigues, there are very few pieces remaining in such excellent condition that still feature these patches. For anyone searching for a “great fatigue jacket,” this is truly a must-have piece. Please note that as this is a used item, returns are not accepted.
